Gender and ICTs
c2o is a member of the APC Women's Networking Support Program (APC WNSP) - a network of women from 30 countries who support women networking for social change and gender justice, through the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs).
c2o - GEM testing partner
c2o used the Gender Evaluation Methodology (GEM) to evaluate its Web Origami Kit (WOK) content management system applied in development of D3 at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image.
As a testing partner, our experience in the use of GEM helped to refine the tool and provided a useful case study.
Women's Electronic Network Training
The Women's Electronic Network Training (WENT) initiative provided training and networking opportunities for women in the Asia Pacific region. Participation was open to women whose organisations play a role in promoting the use of information and communication technology to enhance women's role and capacity in social and policy advocacy, as well as strengthening women's organisations and networks in Asia and the Pacific.
c2o's Justina Curtis was a senior member of the WENT Asia Pacific training team from 1999-2003. She produced WENT training modules, delivered training, and participated in WENT strategic planning.
