About c2o

Community Communications Online (c2o) is a not-for-profit web hosting and online publishing systems provider. It was founded in 1997 to continue support for progressive networking activities in the Australasia region after the closure of Pegasus Networks.

Pegasus Networks, founded in 1989, was Australia's first public Internet provider; a gateway to emerging online networks for the environment, labour, peace, womens and human rights movements.

c2o is a member of the global Association for Progressive Communications (APC), providing two representatives to APC Council. APC Council meets online anually and face-to-face bi-annually.

c2o was established to follow this core set of objectives.

APC Membership

Part of an international network, working for peace, human rights and environment, through strategic use of information and communication technology (ICT).
